Ceramic

All the ceramics are made in St Ives either by local potter John Bedding or Savannah herself. they are made from a white earthenware clay which is fired to a temperature of 1120 degrees centigrade.

The decorations are designed by Savannah on a digital tablet and fabric stencils are made in-house from the designs. Ceramic pigments are used together with the stencils to apply the designs to the pots. As this is a wholly handmade process there is a degree of variation to the designs and pots, which means each piece is unique. The photograph are therefore for guidance are are not necessarily the pots you will receive.
